This is for everyone and no one in particular. It is an observation. If it rings true to you then take it for what it is. A plea for change, for a better world, for people to make a choice to live a life full of worth. I am angry because I love you.

I have been noticing some disturbing trends going on in relation to people and how they treat others. I am sick of pretending it is ok with me. It isn't. I am not going to surround myself with those that use and abuse others for their own emotional gain.

You make me sick. You are not better than anyone else. You don't get your own set of rules to live by. Your higher code is an excuse to be an abusive bastard. I am not going to stand by and watch you do it again and again.

I am not going to smile and nod and tell you it is ok if you happen to be dating one either. It makes me so very sad to think you would choose to live that way. Everyone is worthy of respect and love, whether you think you are worth it or not.

Please talk to me if you want real support that involves ending the cycle of abuse. That is what it is. Abuse. I don't care if you don't get hit. Words are worse. Words get into your brain and make you believe you deserve it. You don't. No one has that right.

Don't give it to them.

Don't turn to me if you are looking for justification for continuing your pain, or false sympathy. You don't need pity, you need to be loved for the treasure you are to the world. Let me know when you want to fight the good fight, cause I am still in the trenches and I need backup.
